Replacement and repair of fuel nozzles / injectors and high-pressure pump
When diagnosing the engine and finding that the engine nozzles / injectors may be out of order, they must be removed from the car and nozzles / injectors checked on a stand. Once the nozzle diagnostics have been performed, a decision can be made on what to do next.
Nozzle / spray test costs 10.00 - 20.00 EUR / pcs. + disassembly / assembly, which is different for car models. When disassembling / assembling the nozzles, it is important to replace the O-rings as well as clean the nozzle seat.
We offer our customers to install new nozzles / sprayers and refurbished ones. The price range is very different for each car model. On average, the renewal of one nozzle / spray costs 80.00 - 180.00 EUR / pcs.
There is a possibility that the nozzles / sprayers have gone out of order due to the high-pressure pump. This is usually seen by disassembling the nozzle / sprayer and revealing that there are small pieces of metal inside the nozzle. In such cases, the entire fuel system, fuel lines, fuel rail and fuel tank must be dismantled. All of these components must be washed in ultrasonic baths to completely remove metal chips. Once these procedures have been completed, new or refurbished nozzles / injectors and a new / refurbished high-pressure pump must be replaced.
The most common problems with the fuel system are:
• increased smoke ;
• uneven engine operation ;
• increased fuel consumption.
